High Idle or Low Idle? 2010 Cummins ISX with DPF

    if i idle the truck to keep cool during the day/night should i set it on high idle or low?? the motor is a 2010 Cummins ISX and it's DPF equipped... just got finished get a DPF cleaned out as it was clogged, just trying to avoid that problem again...

    Low idle- uses a lot less fuel and the engine makes less noise. That way the guy parked next to you with window screens and 12V fan can sleep.
