I’ve got a 15’ prostar cm2350 I want to put one of the 325a alternators on. I’m having trouble finding part numbers, does anyone happen to have one ? Or point me in the right direction. Perhaps the alphanumeric model code of the truck. If not I’ll have to make time to get by international.
High output alternator

Chicken hauler alternator on a Cornbinder?
Bias_racing and A5¢ Thank this. -
I don't have a part number, but units with those big alternators have the "NO IDLE" hvac option. Ask the parts guys for of those.
Bias_racing and spsauerland Thank this. -
What's that do ? Cut out the a/c clutch so not to bog the motor down?
-
No Idle system on Internationals is a battery powered heating and a/c separate system to maintain cab temps without the engine running. There are extra batteries for this which is why they use the bigger alternators.
spsauerland Thanks this. -
Yes, I needed one when I ran my 1400 WATT Mobile Linear setup in my 85 Buick RIviera ! :>) ! It only had a 160 Amp alternator and (2) 1000 CCA batteries. That was barely enough to keep up ! At night while talking on SSB (Sideband), the headlights would Modulate right along with my voice. I got stories about that Linear setup ! Lol !Bias_racing and 201 Thank this.

I’ve got 2-15 nemesis subs, wolfram2400 wolfram 125.4 , 4-compression tweeters American bass, 4- American bass bro 6.5’s. I can’t go full tilt at all. I’m considering lithium but want to look at alts as well.

Is that model specific ? Lone star maybe?

Lone and Prostars have them.
