    2012 Cascadia....Deleted DD15...10 speed

Why when shifting....I'm in 7th gear already between 18-20mph....8th at 25mph...9th at 35mph. I'm doing each shift close to 1500 rpms. It's been like this for about a year....cant figure out.

Before delete....I didn't hit 7th gear till 25 mph for example.

I've changed clutch, fuel pump, and been on top of PM's....can't figure this issue out. Truck just feels like it has nothing the first 45 seconds....high rpm and shifting at low speeds.

    Any ideas?

I am going out on a limb and agree with the ECM being not correct. I don't know how you can have a tractor near top gear at 18 mph. You dealing with a 18 speed perhaps?

I'll take a look regarding ECM and thanks.... No it's a 10 speed. This is my shift/ rpm sequence from 5th gear

    5th...5 mph to 10mph @1400 rpm

    6th...10 mph to 18/20 mph @ 1500 rpm

    7th...20 mph to 25 mph @ 1500 rpm

    8th...25 mph to 30 mph @ 1500 rpm

    9th...30 mph to 35 mph @ 1500 rpm

10th....I'm in 10th gear by the 45 mph mark.

Also....from 5th gear to 9th for example... its hitting 1500 rpm in like 3-4 seconds

If this is the issue....can it be fixed? What about the other suggestions....ECM...speedometor calibration?

Is it an eaton trans? Underneath the bellhousing pull the inspection plate and check the throwout clearance. The paper that came with the clutch is the best spec to use but if u dont have it watch a few utube vids.

Theres a bolt on the pressure plate to adjust the bull gear and get the clearance into spec. Youll need a partner in the cab to check the clearance. I think you need 1/2" on one side' 1/8" on the other and a .010" feeler gauge. Allen wrench works good for the 1/8.

Why cant you check your actual speed against google maps gps speed on your phone?

Did your flywheel get surfaced when you did the clutch?
