I don’t care how good FEMA loads pay, I’m not interested in sitting in a holding area for days on end, while these government morons try and run the show. I did a FEMA load a few years ago in Texas, what a freaking clown show. No thanks.

I haul jet fuel to some of the airports being used for the recovery.
No issues, no waiting, load a additional 800 gallons, in and out with no problem.
Would I haul anything else for FEMA , state etc? Probably not.MartinFromBC Thanks this. -
Fuel hauling really is great. -
Potable water was paying $3000 to go and $1400 a day
Last year $2500 a day whether you moved or not.

Brokered a Tampa yesterday and it took a bit more then normal to move it. So, yes rates are up some temporarily for reefer atleast. 2.50 ish

Are you hauling a fema type load?
If your hauling products not needed or affected by this then I would say business as usual
If you’re hauling necessities like generators. Water. Etc then the pay goes up
But a truckload of Doritos? Maybe not so muchMartinFromBC Thanks this. -
Doritos are not needed, but ice cream, cheddar cheese, and chocolate milk are vital.JolliRoger and GYPSY65 Thank this.
