9.2 mpg on 2014 prostar with 20000 lb reefer loaded.
05 FreightShaker Thanks this. -
Is it all stock? Any pics? I get around 8.5ish with 45k and 7.6ish in the hills. And then maybe someone else can chime in on the "trailer tails" and side fairings on the dry vans if they actually help or just a useless addon.
-
Yep, stock truck with Michelin x-one. the trailer had smarttruck undertray ut6, meritor inflation system, and x-one super single
-
What ratio are your rear ends? Im impressed to see a newer model truck get good mileage. What engine are you running?
-
I know the engine is Maxxforce 13 def. It will keep running on 10th gear when climbing on mountains. The truck belongs to hirschbach. The diff labels weren't on the truck for some reason, but I'm sure it was somewhere 3.08 or less. It ran stronger than the 2012 Cascadia with 455 hp/ 1550 lb ft and 2.53 gear ratio.
-
Ah ok no wonder...its the gearing and i guess you run about 65 or under?
-
And the maxxforce 13 is essentially a cat c13
-
yeah, because it has a twin turbo setup just like the acert engines. Doesn't has strong jakes on it.
-
9 going through nebraska with 44K of spuds with a polite tailwind
05 FreightShaker Thanks this.
