Those other places I posted about are excellent companies to get started with and make decent money. They also have good hometime. You probably have Tricare so won't need the healthcare benefits.Moore101 Thanks this. -

Might give you priority sounds like a great job -
I caution you, it's going to be intense. But the money should take care of itself there, after all you took care of it in their system. -
Old thread, but any updates..? How's it going with getting the CDL, and signing in with a company? Best to learn on local first, you'll know how to drive the 40 ton-er, maneuver, park and get in the tightest places possible, then switch to OTR for better money... Keep in mind. once you get comfortable with being home every night, it might be hard to get on the road! Best of luck!

That’s my thought also. Airgas. They know you already. That means a lot.
Companies are too stupid to realize a “perfectly clean record”. Colin Powell said he hated to promote officers with a perfectly clean record. That meant to him that the Officer wasn’t doing anything. Everyone makes mistakes. You gotta be doing things to make mistakes.
Schneider doesn’t allow intelligent life forms in their trucks. Which is a relief to some people.
I can’t suggest WW. It was a good company. Upper management great to me. But from the terminal managers down. Forget it.Last edited: Jun 23, 2019
