They just bumped ours to three years which I like, helps keep drivers worth a dam around. Hell back when I was looking into chem fleets they wanted five years of just tanker experience.

Military bases. There was this one load that took us way out it the desert. You came up to a gate and they escorted you everywhere. You took the load of diesel and dropped it and they would let you eat lunch. It was great except when they had you stand and face the wall. Not a bad drop for a base the government said we never had. Of course later on the government finely admitted that there was an Area 51.

In addition to the bases are the nuke plants and refineries.
Although I've noticed a more relaxed security stance lately, maybe they have dropped threat level.

I hate nuke plants. Norfolk vs is fine, they have all seen action.

So do I. Last time I was at one was before 9/11. I can't imagine what the security must be like now.

I have a friend of mine his son is an underwater welder that works in nuclear power plants. He says it's wild as hell. 200 foot deep water tanks to keep the reactors cool. He dives down in those things and spot welds

The whole game changed after 9/11 for drivers.

I know the whole game changed - I have the hazmat endorsement and a TWIC. But I was specifically referring to security measures at nuclear facilities.

I don't like young kids with m-16s. When they are late 30s or early 40s I don't mind. That's what I didn't like about nuke plants.
