I think a few co.s pay him. For yrs he talked up magnum ltd that co had there own people on here saying how great they are. They Really hate exp drivers & sent us to Jersey every week. There Real big on hiring military & x cons. Neither had to go to Jersey. And if they did they said they would quit if they went there again. A minority x con murder who bragged about shanking people & getting thrown in the hole for 20 yrs. He went home every 10 days to Id. There’s nothing in that st. He had 5 wrecks in 6 months. I never had 1 . I worked 9 1/2 months straight with no day off during c19. Took 4 days off then 4 months straight. I made 42k. I cheated on logs most days also. Pretty far off what he said about the co. I rode them every week trying to get something. Wi. Has great paying reefer freight. You would think they would get a driver into that st. I wouldn’t mind a couple days off. Instead of 9 1/2 months straight working .

Is there anything better than Walmart for $100k+ a year and home weekends?

Any car hauler jobs or LTL that's better?

Several companies were paying 100k plus. But with things slowing up and all there driver positions being filled. Some of these same companies are now paying more like 90k-85k p/yr.

Go to Walmart Transportation and drink the kool-aid. And you will be fine. I doubt it will be a Monday-Friday run though

I run for OD and my run pays $137,000. I'm home everday, weekends off, working 10hrs a day. I'm 100% drop and hook doing a meet and turn. No way I'd ever consider leaving here for Walmart.

    Very nice.
Did you work your way up to that position/run or was it simply available?

I walked in off the street 10 years ago. Our runs are bid out every 6 months based on seniority. We have runs that leave 24hrs a day 7 days a week so you can choose what fits your home life requirements. I got my son on here as a dock worker when he was 18. He went through our driver training class and started driving at 22yrs old. He made $85,000 his first year as a city driver. He's been driving for 3 years now and he's going to make close to $100,000 this year with a 9am start time.
