I’m constantly amazed that they haven’t gone bankrupt yet, hauling cheap freight with brand new tractors while throwing $10k sign on bonuses at $28/hr drivers/dock workers.

Generally ODFL or FXF are the highest paying non union LTL's

And Ups Freight, ABF or YRC are the highest paying union.

But as stated earlier it depends on the area. But if CT is the highest paying in the area it must be a small area

And depending on the area, I'll throw Dayton Freight's name out there. I've been pretty impressed talking to their drivers.

It's been years since I've been in Dayton's running area. I forgot about them. What about Pitt Ohio are they still around?

I used to deliver to a Pitt Ohio terminal in my ups package car days and those people were always cool and in a good mood.

I’ve had R&L drivers tell me they top out at $30.25 in my neck of the woods.

While they haul cheap freight, they make up for it in stupid volume of cheap freight.

Quick nickles vs. slow dimes theory.
