I think around 90° and sunny is about the limit on APU cooling the cab.

I don't know about that. Couple weeks ago in Laredo it was over 100 and I was under the covers with the cold air my Dynasys was blowing. Best investment I've made for my truck.

TK evolution does not seem that strong for cooling.

Those old tripak's were awesome. They had the old overseas "yellow" motor but they would keep you coo in anything, any humidityl. 2012- era or so. that new stuff is completely full of fail because they cut so many corners to make more money.

Find and old unit and pump money into it.

Ya, I've talked to more than one driver who has been parked next to me that has a TK and when it's really hot out they have to occasionally start the truck up to cool it down as the APU cant keep up.

The Dynasys is a self contained unit, it doesn't tap into the coolant lines on your truck like the TK does.

How much was your TK Evolution?

That's cheap. Dynasys cost me nearly $10k. I would think the TK would be similar in price.

The Tk's just after they quit hooking up to the truck coolant system. The evolutions are louder also. :/

Yes, or at least it became an option. I remember horror stories about the ones that hooked in like that. bad news.
