regional drivers are home through out week and week-ends.typically do two overnights a week and service their own terminal.System drivers get the newest trucks with fridge and microwave.they are out a minimum 12 days before hitting home and service all terminals.i work at highway out of croydon,pa as a regional driver. i left A&R logistics in feb to come here.Last year i grossed 81k with A&R but their equipment is junk borderline hazardous and the dispatch is incompetent. At highway great eqipment and dispatch and less physical for same pay.No brainer

That is surprising to hear that about A&R and their equipment, always thought they had top notch equipment

Thanks for sharing, Highway Transport sounds like a great company!
Makes you wonder if you gross that high as a regional driver doing out-n-backs and home weekends, How much are the system/otr folks making?!

No, you do not. Facial hair is ok. In my 10 years of pulling a tank, I’ve only been to one chemical plant that made me shave. And that was several years ago in Port Arthur Texas.

Good deal. I'm very interested in joining this company but I wanted to keep my beard lol. How are the health benefits there? How much if you know?

I don’t remember how much the insurance is. I left them in April. You could call recruiting, and they could send you the info.

Yeah, now we need to know if something untoward was going on that caused you to leave??? Seems like a good company otherwise.
