When do you start doing backing and parking training?

Just like the old cotton compress warehouses. Tho the first ones were not concrete floors, Trailer looked like a snake slithering back into the dark.

 

thats what i do, run up and down all the gears. Braking with the left foot , reving with the right , downshifting. By the time i come to the stop sign im already in the correct gear to takeoff again

Get the pretrip thought to be anytime you want to enter the truck. Yes it is that important.

 

The thing I would do when I got out of the truck before I shut the door was to look at the yellow air brake knob and make sure I pulled it. They get alot of truck roll aways out there.

 

Are you referring to the old plant in South Bend, I was there once it was old?

 

Much of the plant itself was from the 20's or earlier. I'm thinking the 5 story warehouse was from the 50's. It came down in about 2002 or so.
