    Update. Actually drove the rig forward today. Kenny, one of the road instructors took me over to the industrial park. Talked me through a couple left and right turns. Then sat back and shut up. I cleared all my curbs but one. He asked me if I knew what I did wrong. I did even before I kissed it. I hadn't pulled far enough up before I cut the wheel. Other than that he said I have good technique.

    Back when you first learned to drive, do you remember something like being taught to start turning your steering wheel when your front wheels reach the point where the curb goes around the corner?

    Well, in the truck I start turning the wheel when my trailer wheels reach that point.

    See how that works for you as far as providing some sort of base reference.

    Even though I thought I got 100%, I scored an 88 on the pre-trip. I thought I failed the pad maneuvers, but got a 98%. Go figure.

    Yes. Rubbing is just as bad as going over it. But you practice on the road course with a 53 but test with a 48.
