Hippie Goat's psychedelic journey with Stevens Transport

So currently at the last chemo treatment. CT scan Saturday and doctor appointment on the 14th.

Hopefully surgery first two weeks of August.

 

Talked with my buddy. Who's a trainer for Stevens. Got him all up to speed. Assuming I've got to get some refresher time out with a trainer. Since I've been off work for a while. We're going to get it set up for me to run with him.

He's stuck at the yard for the holiday weekend. Due to a bad radar on the truck. Might just end up getting a new one.

 

So minor update. CT scan shows that the last round of chemo did jack crap for my cancer. Still saying small bowel not pancreatic. Everything, but one of the tumors stayed the same size. But one increased by 1CM. Still smaller than it was originally. My cancer doc is getting me in with the surgeon by Monday. To see if he's still ok with the surgery. Or if we'll need to go back for MORE GD chemo. Possibly even some targeted radiation. From their conversations he's leaning towards more treatment. But hasn't had a chance to look at the scan yet. So basically, if we had not "tried" this additional round of chemo. Wasting 90 days of my life. Just did the surgery. All would be great. But live in learn. It is not an exact science on this crap.

 

So I should have posted Monday. After the surgeon visit.

90 days (6 treatments) of the original chemo. Then CT. Then hopefully surgery. So instead of for my birthday. It'll be for Christmas.

Means I have to get a DOT physical here. Plus probably be around February for me to get back in the truck.
