Congratulations......that was a very adult thing of you to do. Frankly, I'm a bit shocked that you admitted to such an immature and childish act. SMH.

Don't care anymore.

I don’t use dac, dont report to them, it is worthless.
wis bang Thanks this. -
Thats interesting. Are you an employer and can you explain why it's wortheless. thanks
-
Why would they send you an email like that out of the blue? Are you saying you put in a request for your information and that’s what you got in response? If so, why were you expecting there to be anything there? HireRight is a private company, there’s no obligation or expectation for any employer to use them.kemosabi49 Thanks this.

it wasn’t the trucks fault you got cheated out of pay....
-
yeah i requested info.I have had an accident in the past and i wanted to see details on it.

DAC is an acronym for Drive-A-Check, a reporting company that, according to old timers, got its start back in the days of pay phones. If a driver got sick of their company’s nonsense, they could abandon their truck with no consequences and just move on to another company. HireRight is the modern evolution of that DAC report and they are headquartered in Tulsa, OK.

So after talking to a former coworker who also had some accidents i learned that when he was looking for other jobs no other employer found anything on his record. he only got caught by one when he admitted one accident to them. Are some companies more reluctant to turn your accident info over to DAC?
