    Just Curious, are you that.... DISCOMBOBULATED? or are you just that SLOW?
    Swift either SUCKS or they Don't SUCK. 4 times huh, for your peace of mind I really hope they realize you are the REASON THEY HAVE SUCH A HIGH TURNOVER RATE AND ARE CRYING THE DRIVER SHORTAGE BLUES!!!

    Do you think Swift even cares?

    all they care about is shareholders and meeting customer expectations/demands.
    They would hire the OP back because it's a drivers market.

    OP - just state that you have family overseas and that for documentation purposes you will need to visit them for a period longer than a vacation (3 weeks).
    See what they say, just be upfront, they might work with you on it.

    I just finished up another 6 month OTR stint with another major trucking company here in Phoenix and I left on good terms this time. The door is open for my return in 6 to 9 months. My record for accidents is zero at this point and one ticket for driving off the designated CMV route over a year ago. I have over 2 years exp. in the last 5 years. I can pass the drug test and physical. If an OTR company would not hire me with that, they probably suck and I wouldn't be happy with them. I know how hard it is to find a driver who is committed. I'm gold to most companies, if they can get past the fact that I will not do the job for longer than 6 months. Life is short and I gotta make the most of it. Money isn't everything in life.
