All I can think is if you do not want to hire smokers.
Than enjoy having empty trucks. And enjoy waiting for non smokers.

    Snailexpress Thanks this.

If your load is hazmat you can’t smoke either......

    Depends on the hazardous materials.
Why would hazmat be in the cab where I smoke?
Last time I was 20ft from a propane tank smoking I did not burn up.

Dry leaves are more flammable than most hazordous materials.
    Except explosives.

Trucks could be details to rid the smoke. Maybe not entirely but it's possible.

I'll take a smoke truck over an animal truck any day. But I smoke.

BTW. Oil and gas haulers can't smoke either.

    NavigatorWife and Intothesunset Thank this.

Only 14% of the population smokes.

Won't be that long of a wait.

I'm a smoker, but that is not my issue with this advertisement. My issue would be working for a company that bases my income on fuel economy. I can understand a fuel conservation bonus, but not basing my initial rate on it. Heavy loads, head winds, traffic, idle time, Winter driving chained up...etc. No thanks, I'll pass...but I'm not looking either. Currently make more money than they offer and I smoke in my brand new rig. Before the haters chime in, my rig is meticulously clean.

That seems very small of a percentage?
