hiring standards at some tanker companies

    Some of the better gasoline companies are self insured so they are not bound to some of their rules. However, that does not make it easier and sometimes it's harder. But I have found the closer they look the better the company. They want to protect their name so they hire the best they can. If they like you sometimes they bend the rules to hire you. That's why I always say if you can go there and have a face to face meeting you're better off. If you find a company that hires anyone look very close at their operation. Most likely it's seedy and the job turn over is high. If you have nothing to hide go for the best.
