I'm still here with them stuck till mon. 15 years and disgusted I would think a company would appreciate a driver with a clean dat no accidents no tickets what's up I'm soooo disaappointed in this trucking world today.

 

So are you looking for another job?Hirschbach in South Sioux is only 15 minute from me.I'm glad they did'nt hire me a couple months ago.

 

I'm glag the bus broke down and the pick up won't run. Don't come here to hirschbach drivers u will be disappointed. I will be calling me last company. Thank god for them they told me the doors always open for me I'm grateful

 

Oh yes I'm leaving here asap possible I am looking for job somewhere I can be respected and make a good living and be part of a family that works as a team

How long have to been there elephant?

 

Well, some what short history. The main terminal use to be S. Sioux City, IA and E. Dubuque was a satellite.

They use to be a top notch company with Hirschbach at the helm. Then he sold it to Grojean (sp?). That guy owns several non trucking companies, He bought Burlington first, filed bankruptcy and liquidated. Then he bought HML. It wasn't too bad because they still had good dispatchers, planners and payroll.

Then for some unknown reason, I think DOT, they got the heck out of NE and crammed into the little E.Dub terminal. They lost all their good employees and dispatchers. They hired almost all newbies from dispatch to payroll. It was nothing but a big mess. For example, towards the end, 3 of us were dispatched on the same load. And we were all a day late, lol. Good planning.

I lost the best dispatcher in the world and went through 3 new ones before I gave up. So did other vet drivers left the same time. Leasing is a joke. I can't count the drivers that didn't last 6 months after the move.

Orientation when I started was like 4-5 drivers. Now it's like 15 a week.

They are in intervetion now with CSA2010. They have one of the highest OoS scores. They just put EOBR's in all the trucks a couple months ago. They had no choice.

I don't see them coming out of their downward spiral.

Nancy is a two faced liar. She'll be nice to your face. The only one left I like is Gail. She a sweetheart in the log dept.

 

Its been a pleasure talking to u all I needed it and glad u r not going to hirschbach its a hugh mistake .I know I'm still living it. I will let u all know how it goes when i8m outta here and would like to how ur doing also thks for the feed back god bless u

 

His is my 4th week sharon I don't give up I was hoping it would get better its getting worse. I'm stupidified by all of it
