    Aht! My musical friend.

Did not Harold Melvin and The Blue Notes say: 'If you don't know me by now.....'?

The way things are today, nobody may have even noticed the cable got taken down. I coiled up a phone line last year that I found laying across the road and tied it to the pole. It's still there.

I suspect the homeowner has gone cell phone and cable internet and never even noticed.

    Yes time to move.

I see no problem driving on any road unless posted, no trucks, weight restricted or other signs restricting trucks.
As many have said legal height by code is higher than your truck/trailer.

I took a cable down in a parking lot. Local officer arrived detained me while he called cable company. He was going to write me a ticket until the phone call.
He said the person he talked to took responsibility for the line being to low.
    I left with no paperwork.

I've taken cables down over state highways and side streets. Stopped, moved cable to road side and moved on. If I could find number for cable or phone company I would call about incident.
Always stopped to make sure no cable was snagged on trailer. Didn't want to cause more damage.
    Good luck.

Why did you feel the need to go here....an sanctimonious Jackwagons here.

Notice you called in the first you knew about....which he never took the time to do or to remove it from the street. Knew he did it and ran away. Which is my point, which most of you seemingly missed.

You was a responsible person, big difference.
