Hit and run by 18 wheeler...can you help????

Don't you know that as soon as you sit in a commercial vehicle everything is your fault.

Could happen.A small car can get seriously jacked around without a trucker even feeling it, and sometimes the cops are just friggen lazy and dont give a rats ace, there are a few bad truckers out there who dont give a rats ace, and will run away regardless because they aint got the balls to take responsibility for there actions.

Few weeks ago during gridlock dew to an accident ahead, all traffic was stopped. My window open all the way, smokin a cigarette just chilling. Screach of breaks next to me, my eyes light up, there is a little sharp looking black honda civic with a chick inside talking on cellphone. Smacks into my drive tire, plastic pieces of honda everywhere, didnt feel a thing, no damage to the truck. I pull over to look for damage 2 truck was none, she runs in hammer lane and takes of when the traffic moved another 20 yards or so. Couldnt get her plate, called state patroll from number off gps, and the person I talked to asked if she did any damage to my truck, I said no but her car is messed up, lady is like she didnt do any damage to your truck and you are calling here why? Felt stupid. Thinking she took here foot of the break and rolled into me was a good slope in the interstate, saw it after it was to late, I was boxed in at a complete stop couldnt do anything but watch?

 

You should always call. She could say you rolled back into her and ran. At least you have a record of it.

 

If the police were called she should have gotten a ticket for reckless driving, despite the fact that there was no damage to the truck, don't ya think...

 

if she got his trl license plate and called 2 days and say he ran her over, what then???


there is more to this story. a lot of you just pile on and dont give things much thought, ya still thinkin like a four wheeler.
