I have nothing but respect for truck drivers (grew up working at a Navistar dealership from ages 14 - 24), but my daughter and I were involved in hit and run from a semi on 6/7 around 10:38PM on I-20 W in Arlington Texas. She was going 74 and he was passing us (limit is 70 for cars). The car in front of the tractor was going too slow so he tried to pass on the right, right into the side of my daughter's car. His front right corner hit her car and the tire/wheel locked in between the driver side front and rear doors. When she got the car free, we spun 2x and had the "help" of a guardrail to stop us. The driver made eye contact with her through his lower passenger door window upon impact and then sped off. I am reaching out on this forum to hopefully track this driver down.
I only saw the company name / logo on the truck and it was a conventional tractor w/sleeper and a standard white 53' trailer. The company is denying they had a truck in the area at the time.
Thanks in advance for any help!

Thanks for the quick replies. Unfortunately I didn't get any other info off of the truck and no witnesses stopped. I am 90% sure the company is DART. I know, not much to go on, but i was more concerned about getting the car stopped.
Their safety team seems to have been quite helpful, but says no one was on the area.CrappieJunkie Thanks this. -
