Hit N run at truck stop in Cassville, GA

Sadly, it's an all-to-common situation.

Good job, man! "Snitching" may be the only way to get some of these losers off the road.

 

so, I do not do long haul, or truck into full truckstops, but what do you guys think is the most likely reasons why so many "hit"?

do they just not pay enough attention to their surroundings?

THAT is what Trucking is about Walstib!!! We look out for each other bottom line.

Hell when my truck caught fire rolling down the road and I was trying to put it out..a Swifty rolled by on the other side stopped and helped my get it out before anything extremely bad happened. That is what drivers USED to do for each other and there are still some class acts out there that will do it!!!!

You did the right thing by following and getting the information.
To any one who thinks it was snitching. How would you feel , you come out of the tk, and find your fender smashed, and WOW no one saw a thing.

 

It makes me proud to be a trucker when I see other truckers sticking up for each other. Good job. Thanks

 

One time a truck trying to get out of a spot facing the fuel islands didnt wait for a break and turned too tight and tapped my mirror and it folded forward. It didn't even scratch it enough to worry about but I got on the CB "hey blue truck, you just ripped my mirror off, I need to talk to you" and the smoke poured out as he hit the accelerator. Was funny so I called out "hey someone stop that blue truck he just hit my mirror, there is so much damage it is probably a felony hit and run if he leaves". I thought he was going to turn over getting out of there. "Watch out, I'm coming out across from the fuel island to chase that blue truck down" , then I went back to watching TV.

 

I'm glad it turned out the way it did. Now that weasel won't drive anymore.

It could of been a car load of kids he run off the road. Instead of helping them, he would run there too. Man up people!

Surprisingly though the 6 times I been hit in a parking lot.

One manned up!
Four ran and three returned after being confronted. Fourth caught me in the store and disappeared.
The sixth had no choice but to man up because he was blocked.

Three were older seasoned drivers and three were rookies. I seen the one fuel that got away. I just couldn't prove it.

There's more weasels out there than you think.
