One thing I am finding weird is that the guy here is on a truckers board bad mouthing a trucker connected with an incident that no one can figure out the details of.. then gets mad at everuy one posting and then calls us names saying we are defending the alleged hit and run driver??

I only have one observation, and 2 questions. So far the OP has not addressed it.
Why did she call her mother, AND NOT THE POLICE?
A big rig can't simply disappear from the road. They are fairly easy to spot, especially for a cop. With no witnesses other than the daughter, (apparently), we have to take what SHE says as the absolute truth? More clarification is obviously necessary.

Ok.. So this fella (op) wants to blame a trucker for hitting his daughters car.. He doesn't get the answers he wants to hear.. So he blames a "nameless" driver.

My personal opinion is that she NEVER got hit. Where are the pics that were requested? Where is the other evidence, other than his words on here?

All we want is proof of this alleged hit and run, i don't look for it though.

Seems to me the op is peeved because he can't get a job in the industry and is looking to bad mouth truckers. Show us proof, and i will bet there will be people on here willing to help you. I just don't look for that to happen though. :biggrin_25513:

I still can't figure out why the police were not involved, most times when someone hits you with a vehicle that is the first thing you do.

@FirebirdAm WHY WERE THE POLICE NOT CALLED??????????????????

the police probably were not called because the car probably had no insurance

I was involved in a very minor fender bender accident last week and the other driver involved was on the phone with the cops before he got out of the vehicle. Which was about 15 seconds! There were a lot of other vehicles around us at the time but not one of them was going to stop to say they witnessed anything because they had places to go, things to do.

well I live in the wilkes barre area, and highland park blvd has two turning lanes to turn onto the interstate ramp so she would have been in the far left and the truck would have been in the 1st turning lane where it should be, Highland park blvd is 4 lanes in each direction with 2 turning lanes for each side not a 2 lane rd. so yes truck could have just hit while making turn not wide enough but at the same time if I am driving my car and see the truck coming to close I think I am going to stop and wait a second.

The op is pretty clear that the step daughter is not at fault. Funny how there is no response as to why there is no police report or pics to back this up. HMMMM.:biggrin_2556:
Ok so the alleged driver who did this is pond scum. If in fact all things are as you say how do you expect to find the truck and driver on here name calling and stating how you would never do such a thing. If you or your step daughter were in an accident with a 4 wheel vehicle in the same circumstances and you would handle the same way, guess what your gonna get the same results. School is in session, pay attention!:biggrin_25524:
