I "think" you have rights as far as HIV ,but the criminal record and falling asleep at the wheel may be a problem,or at the very least may put you with the "bottom feeders" until you get some "good mileage"under your belt. Companies usually shy away of any drug charges, just from what I've seen.
As far as Mass Commonwealth...that would probably happen any state. Just this am I was subpoenaed as a witness to an accident...young man lost his license bc he ran a red light and caused an accident. Automatic suspension for 90 days here in Texas.

I am not sure that this job is something that a person in that condition would be in their best interest.

Good question, and thank you. For the last 3 years I have a full employment record. Although much of the last year has not been on the books, its verifiable in several ways including with through the department of labor. But before that, I was actually unemployed for nearly 8 months...But that was during the recession and I was actively looking for work. Then before that I had relatively steady employment going back to age 14. I'm 29 now.

Thank you. I really appreciate your comments. I will keep my medical condition private unless it becomes clear I need to disclose it, but I think legally they can't ask provided it does not effect my performance...which is of course why the DOT physical is important...plus someone else pointed out that that part of my physical may not be disclosed to the trucking company anyway. I need to find out about this meds list. ALthough I take the most recent form of HIV meds, Complera. Its a once a day pill, I literally have NO side effects, which is the biggest reason this particular drug was developed.
