So Hogan has an ad on CL for a local driver, 24' box truck, 8 hrs per day, home every night, off weekends, $18 per hr, time and a half over 40. Any thoughts? Almost seems too good to be true. Thanks in advance.

Makes you wonder why they don't offer it to the hundreds of drivers they already have.
BuckeyeKev Thanks this. -
It's in Kingsport, TN. They just got this new contract last week. They have no terminal or even in any trucks in the Kingsport area yet. Guess that's why it wasn't offered to the hundreds of drivers they already have. Just my thoughts but if I had ALL the answers, then of course I wouldn't have had to post the question on here to start with. Thanks

You didn't say it was in TN in the first post, and seeing how they are based out of St. Louis....one would naturally assume local would be around there. Given that it's a hogan job, it probably sucks

10-4, sorry I left that out but thanks for the reply

I'm with canned spam on this one. Hogan doesn't have the best rep, it appears. Read the forums on them and make your decision. 2nd thing to keep in mind, if they don't have a footprint in TN (terminal, shop, etc) what happens when the big thing under the hood starts making a really bad sound? Sure they might have a national tow service - but how soon, where are you going? How do they support the driver?
