Cheeseburger , prestonburg or paintsville ? I'm up near Vanceburg and calling 1st thing Monday morn 11-26. Keeping them crossed , it's been years since I flat bedded. But I'm tempted to try it , again . 1 question do they ever go into AK steel in Ashland , just wondering but would imagine I'll find out in the A.M. unless you see this tonight.

I'm not 100% sure if they hire that far east, I was pushing it where I live, best bet would be to talk to Lisa.
as far as AK, I've never been to one here, I don't believe we do much for AK. that sucks, because Ashland is one of the better mills.

I'm in orientation for Shaffer , I know just another common carrier that is likely to prove that sooner than later. But I gotta work.

Little update - In December, I had to go back under the knife for heart problems and sadly had to go on a leave of absence from Hoge. I am currently going to weekly doctor appts for some kind of blood disorder that requires me to see the doc twice a week and get poked and prodded. Figures, I find a great company and I get taken down for the count by health problems. I am currently working locally so i can show up for my appointments on a regular basis. Hoge is the best company I have ever worked for and I will miss them dearly. I guess almost 20 years of running the road and not eating right finally caught up with me.

Here i see that someone's pay was NET 800-1000. I talked with lisa and she told me drivers GROSS 800 to 1000. Anybody who drives here currently maybe can give me a better idea?

The pay is very comfortable. Yes, I grossed an average of 800 a week, and but I honestly grossed more a few times also. I was home every friday and left out Monday mid morning. If I didn't have to be home Fridays I would have easily grossed 1000±. No bs. Their equipment is top notch and Tommy Hoge is the nicest owner / boss I have EVER had. Everyone in the office are really nice people and I really do miss them.
