I bought my dispatcher a small gift today. He really appreciated it and already ate half the box. He’s such a fatty.

Christmas presents for dispatchers? No way! I will occasionally bring coffee and donuts to the mechanics in our shop. They work hard so they deserve it.
bzinger, faux_maestro and ZVar Thank this. -

I’ve never once given a gift or received one in the trucking world. When I first got In trucking I’d come upon a lot of stray animals so I started keeping dog food and cat food with me.
So nothing for the dispatchers but food for the animals as I find them more friendly and deserving.RockinChair, bzinger, faux_maestro and 3 others Thank this. -
Two days in a row I've gotten a load that was already in the process of being loaded on to another truck when I arrived then a bogus pickup number for a cancelled load so I'm getting them coal in their stockings.

Gifts. Yes. Various, some reflect conversations we've had in the past, others some chocolate, gift cards, cups of candy, double insulated coffee cups, etc.
Pamela1990 and bzinger Thank this. -
