This why it is imperative, on the trip to the ‘closing company’ the buyer does a ‘pre-closing walk thru’ of any property you purchase. If anything you notice is missing, damaged, changed, etc., you discuss this with the sellers or their agent before you(the purchaser) signs any paperwork.
