nice! but after seeing my friends truck and my neighbors suv burn to the ground because of wiring issues for the amps i tend to want to keep the wiring to a minimum. I had a hard time sleeping in my truck after that for a bit.

i have tasted many JVC speakers and amps. Pioneer is better. JVC receivers are good. Sony has good amps and receivers but speakers are junk. Alpine's mono amps are good for sub. Nakamichi was good before but now not.

    SAR Thanks this.

I had a fire twice in the cab. It was not wire issue. The sub speakers started smoking :) My amp was Pioneer GM-D9601 before and sub was small for that beast. Never do 1ohm sub setup. One beautiful day the speaker will catch a fire.

    SAR Thanks this.

the difference in price for the minor performance increase isn't justifiable in my opinion. i've also had many different radio brands over the years and have had good results with both. just would rather spend less and still get a respectable stereo. i'm a poor guy financially so price always plays a part in my decision making on these sort of things.

buy the one you like. I mean the sound and the value. Don't pay attention on brand and specifications.

joseph1853, SAR and Cottonmouth85 Thank this.

Nah, it's really not too bad. I think I have less than $650 tied up in the whole thing.
    I've got a Kenwood Excelon x998 head.
    Sony 4x6 x4 Sony 6x9 x2 and that 12".

I'm happy with it..... for now...

joseph1853, mhyn and SAR Thank this.
