well I think it all depends on the company and what you are going to do with them...regional, all over, dedicated, local...etc.
IE...I work for Schneider, but Im on a dedicated account that has me home daily. -
I think I will watch this thread it should be interesting!

It also depends on where you live. If you have a terminal or drop yard near your home it makes it easier for the company to get you home. That is also why some companies have areas in which they do not hire. I have called several companies and been told that they would love to hire me but they would have a hard time getting me home where I live.

The company that we drive for gets you home every weekend if you want. We have a 5x2 and they are pretty good at it..Leave out on Sunday get in Thursday Nite or early Friday.
-
I see you live in Greeneville Little Red who do you drive for?

I was looking at the schneider website and there is some dedicated runs available in my state though it didnt say where. I live in Bristol VA any schneider drivers know what runs they might be.

Hopefully they keep your account. -
Roehl by far is the best. That company has it stuff together. Thier training is top notch and thier equipment is awesome. Especially the international trucks. If you get one of those they run 68 mph. Plus Gary has the best dispatchers that are so honest and very friendly. Try their new 7-2 hometime program. You will always get home ontime and not be left out in the new england area. Go ahead, give them a call.
