Hoocked computer does not see engine and aftertreatment. 2017 cascadia. DD15 with DT12

    Hi guys today I visited my mechanic to check poerhorse and torque on my cascadia. But his computer recognise everything in this truck but not engine and aftertreatment. Truck runs good. How do you thing what the problem.? I would like to adjust more torque and power. Thanks

    there can be many options. Bad mechanic, fake nexiq, not proper setup in connection options, .....

    Sounds like his Computer is connecting on just the J1708 and maybe the J1939 communication circuits. And missing the CAN circuit. If Can is working he should get MCM, ACM, and CPC or ICU4me. If he has Detroit software he needs to make some adjustments in his options

    I had Chinese nexiq that would not connect to can network..

    Newer Detroit software (DDDL 8) won’t fully connect of the blue tooth nexiq. You have to change PC settings and run with the USB cord.

    Or it could be just what you get with aftermarket.

    i thought you couldnt do those big boy changes anymore. thought the dd15 had only set curve limits

    The Options are in his laptop computer program. So he can see all of your trucks computers.

    He has a corrupted bootleg install of DDDL on his laptop. Trust me on this one.......

    Thank You guys. This mechanic usually doing good job and he is good with truck electronics. He said it is first time. Because all previous connections on other years and dd 15 was successfull. Have no idea. I dont like to go to deaer with that but we will see.

    Maybe. But all others connects perfect. Maybe my truck requires some the newest software?
