Wondered when someone with a eye for detail was gonna catch that

I started with W900's and occasionally a Driver would forget about the 4 Wheeler in front of him in Traffic. ...leading to a bumping at least 1 car sometimes 2

Switching to the T800's took care of that issue

Longarm, Dave_in_AZ and shogun Thank this.

All depends on the dummy behind the wheel, and yes I always assume the other guy is a dummy until I know otherwise, safer that way.

I put 1,600,000 miles on a 9670 IH cabover. I never liked the fact that in a CO your the first one there when you hit something. Now a 379 Pete. But don't want to test the theory. Thing I do appreciate is they are both more accessible to engine and components. Once you got the cab tilted on the old 9670.

yeah, being the first one to an accident, wasn't my cup of tea either, but it's what so many of us started driving, when they took away our oxen carts. i prefer a hood, and i mean a real hood, not those short stubby nosed day cab ones, where the dog house is so big, you can't even lift your butt to fart.

It's probably statistically more common for a slope to be involved in a collision than a hood, because most companies these days don't tend to buy hoods because the dealership promised them 5.267892% better fuel economy.
