hooking up inverter on 2016 cascadia

    Anyone have any experience hooking up an inverter directly to the battery in a 2016 cascadia evo? I have looked around but not been able to find any reliable information. If anyone can give me a quick rundown or link me to any info about it i would be very grateful.

    I have never done it but be sure to have truck running when you are useing it for high power consumption..Off when not needed..Turn off the inverter as well when not in use,usually becomes added noise in the cb..
    Most inverters you buy at truck stops and such are junk and best place to buy is at an rv place....Seeing you have a new truck,talk to freightliner techs for their thoughts(may cause warranty issues in their eyes)..Other than that be sure you have the correct ga of wire and proper size fueable link..
