    I dont get down that way too often, usually system has me going Northeast -> Midwest -> Northeast -> Midwest etc etc. I did finally get an Edgemoore to Statesville run which was nice to be down in Charlotte and see the parents for a day. But it was back up to NJ the day after lol.

    Wednesday was an interesting day loading preloads and then was asked to road test a new driver, an entry level guy fresh out of school. I admit i was a little nervous having to do that but wasn't too bad as i dont always adjust well having anyone in the truck with me unless i knew them. The new guy did well but needed to work on his shifting more since the trucks he was in at the school were nine speeds.

    He also did the double clutching....its amazing that schools are still teaching the double clutch method as with modern trucks you really dont have to do that anymore. Now if one had an 1984 Mack truck, then that might be a different story lol.
