Hoping for enlightenment

Well don't know that I count as a Rookie.. But I will post this here hoping for the best responses.. Drove truck for many years about 10 years ago.. ( Pepsi Cola) Moved to Vegas and had a different career and gave up my Class A ( yeah yeah I know stupid)).. But to make a long story short.. I have moved back to Maryland and looking to get back into trucking.. Honestly not looking for OTR.. (( Like my comfortable bed every night)) But I am taking a refresher course just to use their darn truck for the test... But my question is this.. Will Local union LTL carriers hire me ie... New Penn, Conway, UPS, ABF with my past experience ?? its been a while Or will I have to get on with one of the " other" companies ?? Thanks for your insight !!!!!
