Hoping to go Prime ...

    FINALLY! I'm headed to Prime for the July 24th classes! Took me a while just to have the local school send my employment verification.
    Right now, I've got my CDL Permit w/ tank, twin and haz mat, not that I'll need those at Prime, but, you never know.
    Figured since I had time on my hand may as well study and get 'er done!
    Hope to meet some great people!

    Tank and hazmat will get you out of the NE as a solo reefer driver. The tank is for those big behind thingies that IP talks about. There is some question whether the current ruling will stand, but for now you need it to move the big tanks that sit inside the trailer.

    Don't give Prime any ideas on us pulling more than one trailer. Congrats n good luck

    congrats traveler51 and like dtb said tanker/hzmt are good things to have especially on the reefer side...fb not so much but do come in handy almost had a hzmt loads a few wks ago but wouldnt work out w/the plans my fm had

    I plan on going reefer. Not real interested in throwing out my back, arms, legs, neck, etc heaving heavy tarps and chains. lol!

    O I've secured n tarped in over 100. I'm accustomed to dealing with heat. My last job was worse than this.
