Had a good day yesterday. 20 some odd loads and I didn't get stuck a single time. Driveover set up so it didn't take an acrobat contortionist to get on it. Had a good place to back and set up. Only bad thing was 1 of the buggy drivers after dark was waiting on me every time with his lights on full high and blind right at my truck as I was trying to back in a slot. I asked him to cut em on the radio but apparently he was new and just didn't get it. It can't be all gravy I guess.

That's a lot of loads in one day. Whats a buggy driver? Is that like a grain cart driver.

Exactly a grain cart driver. We call em buggies. We cut 28K bushels yesterday and I was the only driver. Those were farm to bin loads. Still I stayed busy. I like to never got time to eat dinner. Finally ate on the go to stave off low sugar. We also moved twice yesterday so the trucks had to be moved and respotted. All in all a busy day/nite. Some of the rice was reading 269 bu/acre on the monitor. That's good rice.

That's pretty good yield I would say. If a person ever hauled corn that good could would wear the tires out on the truck.

just a quick question about dump trailer size. I have a 32ft tibrook end dump.its a tandem axle. I was told by Eclipse that it isen't long enough for otr.is that true or are they blowing sunshine up my butt?. with my truck I get 24.5 ton's on legal.(sand&Rock). would like to put it behind one of my trucks but if its to short it would be a waste. thanks for any thoughts you guy's might have. Wheathauler that's a very good yield for around here. The early rice is very good unfortunately there's not alot of it. It's all standing too none down so the combines could go fast. It was coming quick is why we got so much and so many loads. They actually filled everything and had to sit a few times. I wasn't the bottleneck though the driveover was. They were filling trucks faster than we could empty em. We're gonna set up 2 driveovers when we can to hopefully solve that.

Big John might be able to answer this better since he pulls dumps. I pulled dumps for a number of years. I think he said he had a 40' dump. I'm thinking you might need the extra length for the bridge.

I could haul with a 30' dump but only because hauling road salt or material for roads. There was no bridge law because was hauling something the state used. OTR I don't think I could have hauled it legally.

Most of the OTR dumps are 39' or 40' trailers, not for sure of the sides. I think a 32' would be two short for some of the things we haul. And the bridge law may be an issue with it also.
