Yeah, I'll probably need industrial strength off to keep them away this year.

I'd be having more fun if I was making any money.

You look a tad muddy...be thankful you have a white truck, they show mud the least. My last truck was white wish I still had that color.

Saves a lot on truck washes. Hell, it's raining again now so maybe I'll get away with not washing it for another week. I ran through some more mudholes after that trying to figure out how to pick up a skid loader with no ramps. Wasted the whole day. Anybody have any ramps for a drop deck laying around?

Well another storm is coming from the west, when will it stop. I feel sorry for the farmers, harvesters and truckers that are waiting to go to work, it hasn't been to profitable yet.

Kajidono, you're supposed to go muddin in a jeep or 4wheeler, not you're rig! :biggrin_2559: Does the boss pay for washing it or do you have to? I'm guessing by the color of the mud and landscape you're in southern KS or northern OK? Am I close? :biggrin_25519:

Been lucky no rain yet today, some storms around us. Would be working but all that is going is feedlots. Doesn't pay good and would be a muddy mess right now. Harvest will start one of these days.

Like I told RW last night I'm kinda dreading when harvest starts up again. I'm ready but it's going to be wild when it starts. Bad thing the wheat will probably all be ready all over the state at the same time...rain seems to cause this. Western ks hasn't had quite as much as us.

Well if it does start at the same time maybe those western Kansas bottom feeders will stay in western Kansas. But then again you have bottom feeders in central Kansas to.

I'm thinking there's going to be cutting in OK and Kansas at the same time. This usually leads to shortages in custom cutters or trucks to haul it. Could be a interesting time coming up.

Dumped another 1" out of my gauge right now, came through in two batches this morning, one shower between 6:30-7:30, the last one between 10:00-10:30. Thought we might try cutting in a couple of days, but it's going to have to hurry up and dry alot for that to happen! Not much harvest going to happen soon, but sure some people will give it a try this weekend sometime.
