I had one of those days today. Went to elevator at eight and didn't leave with my load till 9:30. I was the first one in line. Got to ethanol plant had to wait for them to take a bin measurement, long as it took must have used rulers. Basically I should have stayed in bed today.

WH, still a lot of trucks in your neighborhood or have they left to go do other stuff? Down here several have sold their hoppers or have them for sale and are pulling belly dumps. I was the first local grain hauler to jump and haul oil field rock and several local guys have followed since. I am starting to see some Kansas trucks down at the rock quarry, some with harvesting & trucking names on the door. I figured it wouldn't take long since their is a lot of drilling taking place and a lot more in the works in south central Kansas.

Big John, still seems like there are plenty of trucks. The big boys won't be hauling any rocks. Ckt, Sun Valley and E&J have around twenty trucks each so I don't think we will lack for trucks.
Big John Thanks this. -
