I don’t run those electronic tattletales,(Im local/exempt)however, one of the carriers I haul for does, and there company drivers have a toll free number to call(Elog carrier Verizon I believe)if they have any issues.

ELDs I have used you don’t have to submit 30 minute log book reset for anything. You take your 30 minute off and the clock will rest to 8 hours. This usual has to be 30 minutes and 30 seconds or 31 minutes before it will show clock reset on tablet screen.
For your 10 hour violation the screen is sounds like it’s only showing this because you have not had 10 hours off yet. It’s letting you know if you start driving you will have a violation and the -23 minute sounds like it showing you have 23 minutes left until your 10 hour break is finishedLast edited: Apr 4, 2024

You want your Pre trip inspections and Post trip inspections times to look believable like you actually are doing them. 10-30 minutes for each one or longer as you actually do them.
When you do Post Trip inspection, if you don’t find anything wrong with truck or trailer. You don’t have fill out DVIR unless it something you company requires.
