As president Trump makes changes to many laws I would like you to cast your vote on the hours of service regulations placed on truck drivers.
Should drivers be writen up or should the write ups fall on the company like the old laws mandates.
Force e logs, 30 minute breaks, 14 hour rule or would you rather the laws from the past?
HOS old school version or new school, cast your vote & speak your mind.

I like the new school. Minus the 30 min break. I wish they would get rid of the 70/8 though. At a minimum make it a 70/7.
Hegemeister and Loose Leaf Thank this. -
I wanna vote for elogs and the current rules,
Loose Leaf Thanks this. -
Get rid of the 70/8 rule and the 30 mim. Mandatory break
Al. Roper, noluck and Loose Leaf Thank this. -
Just give us 14 hours a day to do whatever we want.... don't complicate things....
And back to the 8 hour break. I would even say Ill continue with the 30min break thing if we can get the 8hr rest period back.
Keep the 34hr reset. As a matter of compromise...make it 40hr break to reset out hours. No weekly maximum reset periods.Al. Roper, wore out, Bean Jr. and 1 other person Thank this. -
Not that I like them.....and Ive never used them......But I would accept an Elog under those terms no problem.......

I think I'll just stick to the loose leaf.
Its not like drivers will ever stick together for any changes anyway.snowman_w900, flatbeb mac, Al. Roper and 3 others Thank this. -
I think they should just drop the 14 hour rule. Not holding my breath waiting for them to do so though.
diesel drinker, Joetro, Loose Leaf and 1 other person Thank this.
