OMG!! Thanks a bunch! I literally followed your instructions while I was waiting to get loaded..lol..I had a little problem because the air filter elbow was in the way as I attempted to slide out the HVAC box but that was an easy thing to move out of the way. Thanks again!

I have same problem too, Pete 387 '07 .. after few hours start working just fine.. after few days stop on cold only ... and repeat.. any suggestions..?

Your actuator is going bad...same thing as mine...as a matter of fact, my blend actuator just went bad again two weeks ago. I just left it stuck on hot for now since is winter. But if yours is in cold, then yeah change it out.
The actuator is about 55-75 bucks depending where you buy it and pretty easy to change out...look at Jackz instructions above. -
There is a current service bulletin to replace all HVAC actuators dated within a certain date range. If your truck is still under warranty and you are having intermittent heat / cooling issues, please take your truck to a dealership and have them check and see if this applies to your truck.
If your truck is not under warranty, I highly advise you to take your truck in to the dealership regardless, because there is a chance that it may be covered as "goodwill". -
