Been doing hotshot for a company hauling cars for about a month now. Yeah as everyone says it's not worth it. It's horrible to be quite frank. Why am i doing it? Because i have no CDL yet, (i have a permit and can pass pretrip inspection) no experience and the big companies who are willing to train are doing hair follicle drug test. Need a couple more months before my hair is clean.

Question: if I've been driving a 4 car hauler for 3 months (it's a big tex A20, I think it's 51 feet) is that good enough to skip training and go straight to the big rigs or should i go thru the 3 months of training offered for beginners?

Sounds like you need a CDL for what you’re doing now..?
