Any opinions on Texas Pride Trailers?

Personally, I'd avoid Texas Pride.

I started to buy one a while back and did not like the movement in the deck when bumps were encountered. -
Yep, there's many subpar trailer builders out there. The trailers look good in the pictures online, and even up close to someone that doesn't know what to look for. When ever I talk to a trailer dealer and they start asking if I want to add a torque tube, I tell them if your trailer needs a torque tube I don't want it.
Many builders have to add torque tubes because without them, their trailers wiggle like a fish . The reason they do that is because they aren't built well,, they're built with low grade steel, to thin of steel, or all of the above.
And when you're at a dealer looking at a trailer take a tape measure to it. I've seen so many trailers out of square, wider at one end then they are at the other. The last one I looked at over in Sulpher Springs at a small dealer, the trailer was 105 inches wide at the front and 99 inches wide at the rear. LolJoab Rynere and cabovercrazy Thank this.
