Hotshotting usually refers to driving in the oilfield with a pickup or 1 ton pickup.
Hotshoters usually run hot loads, thus "hotshotting", of anything a oilfield
company needs at a business or a rig wether it be land or offshore. If it's going
offshore you will be running it to a dock.

Types of vechiles used are pickups small to 1 ton some with 40'goose necks,
straight trucks, single axles, all the way up to class 8 trucks. When people
normally think of hotshot work they thing of using pickups.
