Hourly pay for a new driver in VA?

    Your gonna need at least 6 Months Otr then u can try central transport or averrit. When u get a year more doors open up but I live in richmond va and most of the good company's like houff and abf want 2 yrs min with haz mat

    these job's do exist, if your around roanoke there are a few company's hire local and by the hour. but like luisrolon said you need more exprience to get to that point. one thing to always remember and this apply's both otr and local. unless your driving for a company who hauls there own product the local thing can be short lived, most of it is contract and companys allway's out bidding each other. what i ment by otr is dedicated stuff.

    Ok thanks guys. Hmm didn't know Houff was hourly. Too bad they require experience, they're really close to me. Good point about the dedicated stuff too.
