Hours of service, and reset question

    I've been pushing against my 70 for the last 4 days. I only had 59 minutes left, and someone went in to change my logs to give me more hours. (not sure who) and ended up with 3. now im back to 1 hour. my FM seems to refuse to give me a reset, even tho i'm at so few hours. This even cuased me to have an HOS violation, while trying to get to the place i needed to be. only a few minutes, but still. What should i be doing about this?

    go online and down load your logs daily if you have to.

    And especially if after you notice something was changed.

    Dispatch doesn't have access to the HOS editing function - only the log department. And they absolutely won't "give" anyone hours.

    Sounds like the elog system is probably doing what it's supposed to, but its confusing the heck out of you. Call the logs department and have them review it with you.
