Hours of service: log book question

    Not sure about AB or SK, but in Atlantic Canada (that includes NFLD oil and off shore), if the guys were stuck at a project for an extended period of time, they fell under the construction workers act for hours of service. That was years ago and has probably changed by now. Something to think about maybe ?

    Driving is driving, log it as Driving,On Duty is when your working around the truck eg: loading,working on the truck Etc. Also your last post is quite vegue. 13 hour???? driving sitting

    Oilfield is when you are at a rig "waiting" to load, you log it as on duty not driving but it doesn't towards your total hours for the shift.
