I think you had better watch the 168 hour rule before the end of June. I read somewhere that this was going to be looked at even though the law was not in force.

You never have to do a restart. You can run strictly by the recap of the hours.

The 168 hour limit is to prevent too many restarts. For whatever dumb reason.

You must wait 168 hours between the beginning of restarts but you are never required to do a restart

You could work 10 hours the next day . We'd need to know your hours each day to go beyond that .

I consider myself fairly intelligent. I have to ask, how are the new steering wheel holding meat in the seat rookies going to get this right? I have run 8 trucks and 10 drivers at a time in the past, I like to think Im pretty good at figuring out regulations, but this is sort of confusing. I suppose if I was OTR pulling a dry van, it may be a little easier but doing OS/OW Hazmat with police and DHS escorts im not sure how im supposed to make this work.

See, y'all don't have to worry even a little bit about this. The world ends at midnight plus one second Monday morning! :biggrin_2559:

...just ask any steering wheel holder! :biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559:
